Deleting your Facebook and Instagram data from Cabinly
Last updated: 19 September 2026
Cabinly is adding the option for a Host to connect their Facebook Page and Instagram account, so posts can be scheduled and published from Cabinly. The feature is in development and awaits Meta’s App Review. If you connect them, this page explains what we keep and how to have it deleted.
1. What we keep
If you connect Facebook or Instagram, Cabinly stores:
- Access tokens for the connection – they let Cabinly publish on your behalf,
- the ID and name of the connected Facebook Page and Instagram account,
- posts you scheduled or published through Cabinly.
We use this data only to publish your posts. The full rules for your data are in the Privacy Policy.
2. Disconnect in Cabinly
In the Cabinly app, open the settings and disconnect Facebook and Instagram. The stored access tokens are deleted at the moment you disconnect, and Cabinly can no longer publish or read anything on your behalf.
3. Ask us to delete everything
To have all of the data listed above deleted – including the Page and account IDs and names, and your posts – email wecare@cabinly.io from the address you use to sign in to Cabinly, with the subject “Data deletion request”. You do not need to be signed in, and you do not need to explain why.
We handle the request within 30 days and confirm by email when the data has been deleted.
4. Remove Cabinly in Facebook
You can also remove Cabinly from the Facebook side: in Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, find Cabinly and remove it. This stops Cabinly’s access immediately. To have the data we already hold deleted as well, use one of the two steps above.
Posts that were already published stay on Facebook and Instagram – deleting data in Cabinly does not remove them there. You can delete them yourself on Facebook or Instagram. Data controller: Enlive Michał Michańczyk, contact wecare@cabinly.io.
